I AM ERICA MITTERLING

From the time I first held a camera as a teenager, I knew I was meant to capture moments that last. Now, over 10 years later, I still adore capturing authentic, genuine love stories.

I'm a self proclaimed "sports girlie" who is almost always watching a game (C'mon City), coffee snob and Gossip Girl stan. I'm deeply passionate about mental health advocacy, my faith in Jesus and showing up for the others around me.

My husband, Jacob, and I live in Charlotte, NC with our Bernedoodle, Milli, and our kitty, Piper.

My approach to photography begins with the belief that your story should be captured as it truly is, not reshaped to fit someone else’s standard. I pay close attention to who you are, what matters to you, and the natural rhythm of your day, allowing each moment to unfold without forcing or manufacturing it. With discernment and care, my goal is simply to observe, document, and preserve the real moments so that when you look back, you remember your day exactly as it was lived.
